Tom Sneade - Art for Ann

Born in Liverpool in the 1950s, Tom began to experiment with paint at an early age and started to develop his own style initially using oils on canvas, but now concentrates on watercolours using a variety of techniques.

Tom joined the Royal Navy and whilst on leave he met Ann through a mutual friend.  He proposed with a Coke can ring pull in Liverpool's Lime Street Station and they later married in Plymouth where he was based.  Over the next couple of years, Richard and Hannah were born to complete their family.

During their married life, Ann and Tom enjoyed the arts together, playing a variety of instruments as well as painting and sketching.

In July 2019, Ann sadly passed away.

Art for Ann is dedicated to honouring Ann's memory and supporting the vital work of Cancer Research UK.
